Were excited to share that Grab plans to go public, in partnership with @AltimeterCapital. This is expected to be the largest-ever U.S. equity offering by a Southeast Asian company, and wed like to thank everyone whos been part of our journey from a single-country taxi-hailing app into Southeast Asias leading superapp. From deliveries to mobility to financial services, we look forward to serving Southeast Asia better!
As our Group CEO and Co-founder @Anthony puts it, It gives us immense pride to represent Southeast Asia in the global public markets. This is a milestone in our journey to open up access for everyone to benefit from the digital economy. This is even more critical as our region recovers from COVID-19. It was very challenging for us too, but it taught us immensely about the resiliency of our business. Our diversified superapp strategy helped our driver-partners pivot to deliveries, and enabled us to deliver growth while improving profitability. As we become a publicly-traded company, well work even harder to create economic empowerment for our communities, because when Southeast Asia succeeds, Grab succeeds.

Today we announced our plan to go public with @altimeter capital (https://bit.ly/2OHBCGM). Its humbling that this is expected to be the largest U.S. equity offering by a Southeast Asian company, and were honoured to represent our home region in the global public markets.
While this is a key milestone, its not our destination. Well work even harder to create economic empowerment for the regionTHAT is our destination. Grab succeeds ONLY when Southeast Asia succeeds. My commitment is that well stay on ground, even if its virtual meetups for nowlike this photo of a recent partner feedback session in Vietnamto better serve our community.
Im glad @bradgerstner and Altimeter are joining our journey to create more digital opportunities in the region. Its unprecedented that theyre donating 10% of sponsor promote shares to our new #GrabForGood endowment fund for our partners and communities. Its so important that our values are aligned.
Grabbers, thank you. From a single-country taxi-hailing app to the regions leading superapp, I hope
its been a fulfilling journey together. Keep executing on our superapp strategy! Its helped us and our partners through the pandemic in 2020, and is how well play our part to widen access for all to benefit from the digital
economy.

I joined Grab about five years ago because I was drawn to its simple, yet ambitious mission to drive Southeast Asia forward by creating economic empowerment for all. This mission created the opportunity for a superapp, and led us to identify many other areas we wanted to improvefirst mobility, then deliveries, payments, and now digital financial services. Many partners, including top institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds, as well as leading family groups in Indonesia, have since joined us as we now announce our plan to go public. Going public is a new chapter in the future of Grab, and will help us continue our business momentum so that we can keep out-serving our partners.
